I was a little worried the beeswax coating would feel sticky, but it's actually smooth and the hand-harvested hemp smells faintly of honey. The string held up perfectly through my first few uses, no fraying at all.
The hemp string is surprisingly sturdy yet soft against the skin, no irritation at all. I love that it was hand-harvested and dipped in that fresh beeswax, you can really tell the quality difference. It's become my go-to for daily wear, the natural feel beats anything synthetic I've tried.
